Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the wedding taking place?
The wedding and reception will both be at the Confidante Miami Beach. The address is 4041 Collins Ave. Miami Beach, FL 33140. Our Location Page has more details about the area.
What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?
The ceremony is at 5:00pm and the reception will be immediately after and in the same location.
What is the dress code? What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is Formal. We find wedding dress codes kind of confusing and are happy to answer questions about this! Most guests will be wearing suits, jumpsuits, long dresses/gowns in spring colors. It’s Miami so feel free to have fun with it! Click this link for a lookbook. No tuxedos please.
What weather should I expect?
Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but Miami is usually in the high 70s to mid 80s in Spring. The historical average high for that weekend is 85° and the low is 70°. Keep an eye on the weather here in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? Is it on the beach?
The Ceremony will be outdoors and the cocktail hour and reception will both be in indoor/outdoor spaces. It is not on the beach, so no need to worry about sand in your dancing shoes!
What should I expect after the ceremony?
The ceremony is going to be short. After the ceremony, the immediate family and wedding party will be taking pictures for a short while. Guests can walk directly to the cocktail hour to get the party started. Dinner will be served around 6 pm, with dancing to follow.
Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?
We are not providing any formal transportation for the events- everything is taking place in the same area. The hotel has paid parking, and Lyft is a great option for getting around. The area is also very walkable.
Are there other wedding events I can attend?
Yes! We are having a destination wedding because we were most excited about spending quality time over the weekend with you! There will be welcome drinks on Friday by the pool at the Confidante Hotel, and a farewell brunch. For More information about the entire weekend of events and to RSVP to those individual events, check out our events page here.
